Cricket fans were left frustrated on Friday after tickets for the ICC Women’s World Cup Final were listed as “Sold Out” on BookMyShow even before any fresh sale announcement. The sudden unavailability sparked widespread criticism of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the organisers for poor communication and lack of transparency.

Several users on X (formerly Twitter) said the ticketing page for the final switched from “Coming Soon” to “Sold Out” within minutes, leaving them without a chance to purchase.
