Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Mikie Sherrill are neck and neck in latest polling, showing the two New Jersey governor hopefuls just a percentage point apart, the closest yet as election day approaches.
Ciattarelli has dropped to within a single point in a stunning new poll released Saturday as the two approach the final hours of their campaign in a virtual tie.
Sherrill’s lead has dropped to 50% to 49% in a new Atlas Intel poll.
It’s just the latest survey to show a nail-biter in the most-watched statewide election this year.
It follows a series of surveys showing a tightening race, including an Emerson College poll released Thursday that had Sherrill’s lead at 50% to 48%.
Sherrill also held a 1% lead in polls by InsiderAdvantage/Trafalgar Group survey last month.
