BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Early voting has started for the November 15 election in Louisiana.
The early voting period will run from Saturday, November 1, through Saturday, November 8, not including Sunday. The polls are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Click here to find your early voting location.
There are 32 parishes with only local propositions on the ballot, two parishes with local races and local propositions on the ballot, and 30 parishes with no elections on the ballot.
One of the top items on the ballot for people living in East Baton Rouge Parish is Mayor Sid Edwards’ Thrive EBR plan, which consists of three tax proposals.
