HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Three people were hurt Saturday in a multi-vehicle wreck on Highway 17 Bypass near Surfside Beach.

Horry County Fire Rescue crews were sent to the area of Coventry Road around 9:45 a.m. for a four-vehicle wreck with entrapment, including one that overturned.

Three people were hurt and transported to local hospitals with undisclosed injuries.

No further information was immediately available.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
