CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department is investigating after a shooting left one man dead and another hurt early Saturday morning.
Officers say the shooting happened at around 12:45 a.m. at the 930 NoMo apartment complex on Morrison Drive. At the scene, police found one man dead in a hallway and another man shot in the leg on the property. The hurt man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say an argument broke out among people attending a Halloween party. When the argument escalated, investigators say several people involved exchanged gunfire.
The Charleston Police Department says it is aware that the complex houses several College of Charleston students and has been in contact with the College of Charleston Public Safety. Office
