The mayor of Peoria is about to rake in $150 million in cash.

Jason Beck is selling his military and law enforcement gear company, Tyr Tactical, which is headquartered in Peoria, to Cadre Holdings, according to an Oct. 29 news release. The publicly traded Florida-based company makes protection products for first responders and federal agencies.
