A 15-year-old girl died in a camper fire at a Lancaster campground, according to Pennsylvania State Police .

Troopers from Troop J in Lancaster said they responded to the Roamers Retreat Campground at 5005 Lincoln Highway in Salisbury Township around 4 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, troopers found a camper on fire with one person trapped inside. Police said the occupant, the 15-year-old girl, who was not identified, was found dead inside the camper.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and police will release more information as it becomes available.

Multiple fire companies responded to the scene.
