NILES A home in Niles has been deemed a "total loss" following a fire around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
According to the Niles Fire Department, crews were called to the 900 block of Robbins Avenue around 1 a.m. for reports of a fire.
When responders arrived, they found heavy smoke pouring from the home.
A dispatcher with the department told 21 News that the fire had to be put out several times, and was discovered in both the basement and second floor of the home.

The house was occupied when the call came in, but everyone was able to make it out of the residence. No injuries have been reported.
The incident is being treated as "not suspicious" and could be accidental, and the cause is still being investigated.
