Boston College faces a steep uphill battle when it hosts No. 12 Notre Dame for a Week 10 matchup at Alumni Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles (1-7) have not won a game since annihilating Fordham in their season opener. Their seven-game skid was punctuated by a 38-24 loss to No. 19 Louisville on Oct. 25., in which they allowed 317 yards on the ground for four rushing touchdowns.
