EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - There were a handful of Halloween DUI arrests overnight in Evansville.
Police say in one of those cases, a driver caused a crash that heavily damaged not only his car, but someone else’s.
It happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday at First Avenue and W. Franklin Street.
Officers say 29-year-old Benjamin Fenwick reeked of alcohol.
They say he failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of .199. That’s more than twice the legal limit.
Police say Fenwick was taken to the hospital and then to jail.
