Notre Dame looks primed to roll this weekend, and I’m all in on the Fighting Irish to cover the massive -30.5 spread against Boston College.

This is a mismatch in every sense. The Irish are locked in after a 5-game win streak, and they’ve got College Football Playoff motivation driving them. Marcus Freeman’s squad has been laser-focused since their bye, and this looks like another spot where they’ll pour it on early and never look back.

Meanwhile, Boston College is reeling. It has dropped 7 straight, owns one of the nation’s worst defenses (allowing 6.1 yards per play) and just gave up 317 rushing yards to Louisville. That’s bad news when you’re about to face a Notre Dame backfield that just ran wild against USC. Love and RB Jadarian Price could both crack 100 yards again, while freshman QB CJ Carr continues to look more comfortable each week.

The Irish have also been a covering machine as heavy favorites under Freeman, and they’ll want style points to impress the playoff committee. Boston College, on the other hand, simply doesn’t have the defensive depth to hang.
