FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — It’s been three decades since the Razorback Spirit Squad of the 1990s last shared the sidelines — but this Homecoming weekend, they’re back together for one more performance.
Former cheerleaders, dancers and mascots are reuniting in Fayetteville to relive old memories, dust off their uniforms, and rekindle friendships that began under the stadium lights.
For many, it’s the first time seeing each other since their last “thigh stand” or “split-lift” at a Razorback football game nearly 30 years ago.
The reunion was organized by Amanda and Joseph Armour, a former cheerleader and pom squad member who met on the sidelines and have now been married for 28 years. Their idea for a small get-together quickly spread, drawing dozens of alumni from across the country
