The DC Universe will soon begin the search for its Batman , as that starts as soon as The Brave and the Bold 's script is finished, and we know a few actors who would be perfect for the Dark Knight. Ever since James Gunn's DCU reboot was announced, names for who could replace Ben Affleck as Batman have been flying around.

One of the most popular candidates was Reacher 's Alan Ritchson. However, he is unlikely to get the role, as Ritchson confirmed he spoke to Gunn about Batman , and while he could be part of future DC movies , it should not be as Bruce Wayne. That opens the door for other actors to compete for Batman, and these would be the best:
