One person was killed and three others were left wounded after a shooting in Connecticut in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The gunfire erupted in New Haven on the corner of Church and Center streets at 2:34 a.m., police said in a statement.
Based on surveillance video, authorities believe the deadly violence was sparked by an altercation between two people outside a Dunkin , reported CBS affiliate WFSB. When tensions boiled over, they both pulled out weapons and opened fire on each other.
An 18-year-old woman was fatally struck by the gunfire, while three others — two 21-year-old men and another 18-year-old woman — were wounded, police said.
