LANCASTER – A man was shot and killed in Lancaster and homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are launching an investigation into the shooting Saturday.
Deputies responded at 12:45 a.m. Saturday to the 100 block of W Avenue I and Division Street regarding a shooting, said homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics, authorities said.
