A Halloween party in Santa Clarita turned deadly on Friday night after gunfire broke out, killing one person and injuring another, according to authorities.
Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a shooting around 11:15 p.m. in the 25000 block of De Wolfe Road, near Lyons Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said in a news release.
When deputies arrived, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds near a home where a large Halloween celebration was taking place.
