Two policemen saved the life of a senior citizen who hanged self with the intention to end his life by giving him cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at his residence in Krishna Nagar area of Mohammadwadi, Hadapsar.

Police said a 60-year-old man had locked himself in a room to end his life at his residence in lane number 4 Krishna Nagar, following some domestic dispute, on the afternoon of October 30.

On receiving information, police constables Gajanan Budhware and Vishal Thorat, both attached to Kalepadal police station as beat marshals for Mohammadwadi, rushed to the spot.
