Punjab Horticulture and Defence Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat today handed over as many as 32 new fogging machines to councillors of the Jalandhar West Assembly segment during a brief ceremony held at his office in Basti Nau.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bhagat said the addition of these new fogging units will further intensify the city’s ongoing efforts to control mosquito breeding, particularly in the aftermath of the monsoon season. “These machines will play a crucial role in ensuring cleaner, healthier surroundings by preventing the spread of vector-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya,” he remarked.
