LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Police are searching for a suspect after one teenager was stabbed and another injured at a Halloween party in south Lincoln on Friday.
Lincoln Police officers were called to the area of 40th and Prescott streets on the report of a large party at 9:30 p.m., where the caller reported 50 to 100 teenagers being loud.
LPD said as officers were responding, a stabbing was reported.
Upon arrival, LPD said officers found a 17-year-old from Lincoln with critical injuries. Officers provided immediate care and the boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where his condition is considered stable.
Soon after, a 15-year-old Lincoln boy arrived at another local hospital with injuries believed to be from the same incident.
