Aims Community College in Greeley is partnering with the Patton Veteran Project to host a film workshop catered toward women veterans, followed by a Veterans Day film festival that’s open to the public.
The “I Was There Film Workshop,” will run Friday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 9, according to an Aims Community College news release.
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, community members can watch the results of the workshop at the Veterans Day Filmfest at the Aims Welcome Center, 4901 W. 20th St. There will be a full reception with food and drinks at 5:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 6 p.m.
General George S. Patton’s grandson Benjamin Patton, as well as retired Lt. General Joe Anderson, former commander of the largest Corps in the Army, will be featured speakers, the release states.
