Game 7 of the 2025 World Series is set for Saturday night in Toronto, and while the Los Angeles Dodgers are playing for a second straight championship, the Toronto Blue Jays are fighting for their first World Series victory in decades.

This World Series has had plenty of ups and downs, including a wild 18-inning marathon Monday that ended with a Dodgers 6-5 victory and a 2-1 series lead. But after two straight wins, the Blue Jays stormed back to take a 3-2 series lead before the Dodgers tied it up with a Game 6 win Friday night.

So now, it's onto Game 7, which will end either with a repeat title for the Dodgers or the Blue Jays' first World Series win since 1993.

Toronto has won two World Series in franchise history, and they were in consecutive seasons in 1992 and then in 1993.

In 1992, the Blue Jays beat the Atlanta Braves with a 4-2 World Series win, and in 1993, they topped the Philadelphia Phillies, also with a 4-2 series win. But since then, Toronto has suffered through a three-decade World Series drought — though it could all end in Game 7 on Saturday.
