The Coweta Police Department says it's investigating a new case of sexual assault between students after it was reported at their support event today.
This is now the fourth case the Coweta Police Department is investigating at Coweta Public Schools, and Coweta Police say the second incident involved elementary students.
Family and Children Services told News on 6 about ways parents can help prevent this behavior.
When kids reach middle school, they start to go through a lot of changes.
Courtney Crandall, Family and Children Services, said, "Hormones are coming online, children are becoming more aware of you know, their bodies, their body awareness, acne is happening, and the pre-frontal cortex, part of their brain where decision making happens, that is coming online."
