CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - One person is dead and another injured after an argument during a Halloween party led to a shooting, police say.
Officers with the Charleston Police Department responded to the NoMo apartment complex on Morrison Drive around 12:45 a.m., and found a man dead in a hallway.
Another man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg was found on the property. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
“Preliminary information indicates that an argument broke out among attendees at a Halloween party. The argument escalated, and multiple individuals involved in the altercation exchanged gunfire,” said police officials.
