New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) union Minister Kiren Rijiju today commended Delhi Assembly for its swift transition to paperless governance, saying that it has set a new benchmark by implementing the National eVidhan Application within 100 days.

In his remarks during the 3rd National Conference on National eVidhan Application (NeVA) held at Parliament House, the union Minister pointed out that although Delhi was the 28th state to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to go fully digital, it went live in less than 100 days, and became the 18th state to achieve complete paperless functioning.

Delhi’s first paperless session was held on 4th August, 2025, after 136 days from the signing of the MoU on 22nd March, 2025. The signatories to the MoU were the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs (MoPA),
