FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - ‘Christmas on Broadway’ returns to Fort Wayne in mid-November.
Preparations for the event began Saturday with the construction of a tree stand.
The tree stand will soon hold a 40-foot Colorado spruce, the centerpiece of the celebration.
The tree will arrive on November 17, making an appearance in 21Alive’s 5 a.m. newscast.
Held along Broadway Plaza, outside of the Shine & Hardin building, ‘Christmas on Broadway’ rings in the holiday season for the Summit City.
Celebrating its 21st year, the event will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 21, and feature a parade, tree-lighting, fireworks display, and other holiday-themed activities.
