NAMPA, Idaho — The spirits are restless, and time is running out for those brave enough to face Nampa's haunting history.

Tonight marks the final opportunity for thrill-seekers to experience "Nampa Nightmares," a guided tour through the darkened streets of downtown Nampa.

Organized by Nampa's Arts and Historic Preservation Commission, the macabre walking tour leads visitors to 13 sinister sites where murders, disasters and scandals lurk in Idaho's shadowy past. Tours depart at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., with tonight's November 1 excursions serving as the final curtain call for this three-night-only event.
