CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Firefighters responded to a house fire in Chapmanville Friday evening.
The fire happened at the corner of Airport Road and Snap Dragon Street just before 6 p.m.
According to the Chapmanville Fire Department, the fire started at a single-story home from the rear.
Officials say the home had, “heavy dark smoke producing along the entire roof line.”
Firefighters say everyone made it out safely and no one was injured.
However, the house was a total loss.
They were assisted by the Henlawson and Danville Fire Departments, as well as manpower and air trailer from the Cora Fire Department.
