A 19-year-old Maricopa man was killed in a motorcycle crash last night at the intersection of Smith-Enke and Porter Roads, according to authorities.

The rider has been identified by InMaricopa , but multiple family members, including his mother, a 38-year-old Rancho El Dorado woman, asked that his name not be published at this time. Out of respect for the family’s wishes, InMaricopa is withholding his identity as the investigation continues.

The Maricopa Police Department said officers and Maricopa Fire/Medical crews were dispatched about 7 p.m. Halloween night to the two-vehicle collision. Witnesses believed a black Tesla was involved.
