TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Police temporarily closed a busy road on Friday after a concrete mixer damaged a fiber-optic cable line.

At 12:17 p.m., a mixer completed work at a construction site along Pole Line Road East between Mountain View Drive and Bridgeview Boulevard, according to the Twin Falls Police Department.

Police said the driver forgot to lower a part of the truck when he entered onto the road. The truck grabbed onto the overhead line and tore it.

Police had to close the section of Pole Line Road East for around 45 minutes while the lines were down. There were no injuries.

The closure led to traffic backups around northern Twin
