COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is accepting entries for its annual holiday card contest, inviting children 12 and younger to design the agency’s official seasonal greeting.
Since 2019, the winning artwork has served as Col. Charles Jones’ official holiday card, appeared in the Patrol’s quarterly Flying Wheel magazine and been shared on the agency’s social media platforms.
Entries must be created on a standard 8½-by-11-inch sheet of paper and include four elements: the Ohio State Highway Patrol Stetson, the Ohio flag, the patrol’s Flying Wheel emblem and the message, “Happy holidays from our family to yours,” officials said. A child’s name cannot be written on the artwork itself.
