BROCKTON, Mass. —
Authorities are investigating after two separate shootings in Brockton, Massachusetts overnight.
The first shooting happened just before 1 a.m. on Plain St.
According to Brockton police, there were no reports of any injuries but two vehicles were struck by gunfire.
Officers arrested a man at the scene and charged him with improper storage of a firearm and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. Police did not release his name.
About an hour later, officers responded to another report of gunfire, this time in the area of 277 Main St.
Police say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
Officers applied a tourniquet and the man was transported to a local hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
