WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WVNS) - Things are heating up at the Greenbrier, as preparations begin for the Greenbrier Tipoff.

While there will be plenty of top tier men’s college basketball to go around, they are bringing a huge matchup in women’s basketball to kick things off.

On November 14, 2025, WVU Women’s Basketball will take on national powerhouse Duke starting that evening at 7.

“It is going to be a heck of a battle inside Colonial Hall here, and we hope a lot of people turn out. We have great girls basketball in our area. So hopefully some of those girls come out and see what their futures could be like at a major school,” said Cam Huffman, the director of public relations for the Greenbrier.
