FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - Multiple electric vehicles and a car dealership were damaged in an early morning fire, according to the Franklin Fire Department.
FFD said crews responded to the Rivian dealership and service center on 5th Avenue North just before 1:20 a.m. for reports of vehicles on fire.
When crews arrived, they found four electric vehicles on fire outside the building with flames extending into the service bay.
Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire and limit the building’s interior damage. FFD said crews remained at the scene for more than four hours, monitoring and cooling the vehicles’ battery packs.
