OMAHA, Neb. —

Omaha police are investigating a homicide after gunfire breaks out at a house party on Halloween night.

The incident happened just before midnight in the area of 36th and Polk streets.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.

The teen was taken to the hospital where he died.

The investigation is still ongoing.
