A 31-year-old man faces multiple charges after an impaired driving incident in Kitchener on Thursday night.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to reports of a man “slumped over in the driver’s seat of a vehicle” in a parking lot in the area of Ottawa Street North and Weber Street East at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to a news release.
Police said they found the man in the vehicle, sitting in the driver’s seat, with open containers of alcohol in reach.
As police attempted to investigate, the man reversed his car into a police cruiser and drove over a curb before police stopped and arrested him.
Police said no physical injuries were reported.
