BLOOMINGTON — Vaughn Karvala, a top-50 wing/forward in 2026, committed to Indiana basketball on Saturday.

Karvala picked the Hoosiers over co-finalists Xavier and Cal. He announced his decision via the Bella Vista College Prep YouTube page .

His decision makes Karvala the Hoosiers' second commitment in the current senior class, alongside District Heights (Maryland) Bishop McNamara guard Prince-Alexander Moody . Karvala plays at Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona, but is originally from Fitchburg, Wisconsin — bordering Madison and a short hike ride from the Big Ten rival Badgers — and attended nearby Oregon High School, where Marquette coach Shaka Smart graduated .
