HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - On Saturday morning, around 2:15 a.m., gunfire around Mayor Wright Homes in Kalihi was reported.
Two males, ages 13 and 27, were shot while walking into the area. The teen was shot in the ankles and the adult in the shoulder.
Shortly after, a 25-year-old male security guard witnessed the shooting and was stabbed in the shoulder by a second suspect, a 31-year-old male. The suspect fled on foot and was arrested nearby for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
Police say the two assaults that occurred in Kalihi were connected.
All three victims were transported to the hospital.
The gunman of the first assault remains outstanding and described as an unknown male.
