The suspect of a road rage shooting in Doral that sent a man to the hospital on Halloween is facing an attempted murder charge, court documents said.
According to the arrest affidavit obtained by CBS News Miami, 54-year-old Emilio Rodriguez was arrested late Friday night for second-degree attempted murder for shooting a man in the face during the road rage incident.
On Sunday, the judge found probable cause to hold Rodriguez without bond, and he was ordered to appear before a district judge on Monday. During the bond hearing, his lawyer argued that the incident was not premeditated and that Rodriguez acted in fear for his life because the victim allegedly got out of his car and tried to enter her client's car.
According to the bond hearing, Rodriguez is employed by Miami-Dade County
