WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - Five people were hospitalized following a crash on 2558 Coastal Highway in Crawfordville near Medart Elementary School, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at about 3:17 p.m. Saturday and involved two vehicles, per FHP. After the crash, four people were taken by ground to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and another was taken by air to TMH, FHP said.

The northbound and southbound lanes were briefly closed due to the accident.
