MASON, Mich. (WILX) - On Friday, two federal judges ruled that the Trump administration must use contingency funds to make payments for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), as benefits won’t be received starting Saturday.
A judge in Massachusetts has given the administration until Monday to inform the court whether it plans to follow the ruling.
As uncertainty grows and the federal government shutdown continues on its 32nd day, one couple in Mason is making their best efforts to feed the community.
