FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne hosted the first of its Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp sessions on Saturday.
The city is one of 30 in the U.S. to be selected for the program this year.
The Mark Cuban Foundation, founded by its namesake, is a nonprofit that provides access to AI education.
Its AI Bootcamp program introduces high school students to how AI works, the ethical implications of its use, and the many ways it shapes modern life.
Angie Carel, a local generative AI consultant, says Fort Wayne’s selection as a host of the program is ‘a significant win for local AI education efforts’.
