While an X-Men reboot is in the works for the Marvel Cinematic Universe , 2026 will see the return of the Fox version of the mutants in Avengers: Doomsday . Even though The Multiverse Saga has had several cameos from the X-Men actors, a proper reunion is happening next year when they join forces with Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly , Famke Janssen, who portrayed Jean Grey in the original X-Men trilogy, talked about how many outlets have been asking about not being in Avengers: Doomsday. The Marvel alum stated, "Every time I do an interview, it's mentioned. It's interesting. I didn't realize that was such a big part."
