Ruben Amorim believes Manchester United would have lost against Nottingham Forest if the game had been played last season.
United opened the scoring at the City Ground thanks to a header from Casemiro, but the match was turned on its head almost immediately after play resumed for the second half.
Morgan Gibbs-White levelled the scores in the 48th minute and Nicolo Savona made it 2-1 just two minutes later.
Forest fans sensed their first win in the league since August, but Amad popped up with nine minutes remaining to score a stunning goal which ensured the points were shared.
Amorim was asked whether United would have lost the fixture last season and responded: "Yeah."
He paused before adding: "By more goals [they would have lost]. That is my feeling."
