KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Mostly cloudy skies will persist overnight with showers increasing late tonight and into the overnight hours. Temperatures will fall into the middle 40s with a calm wind.

SUNDAY: It’ll be cool and dreary through the day with a mostly cloudy sky and periods of scattered rain showers. Most of the rain looks primarily to be to the west of I-75 through Sunday morning and into the evening hours. Temperatures will be mild with many areas reaching the upper 50s.
MONDAY: A few light showers could linger into Monday morning with clouds still hanging around. Throughout Monday, we will gradually begin to clear out, leaving us with plenty of sunshine by the afternoon, and temperatures reaching the low 60s.
