MEMPHIS, Tenn. - An officer with the Memphis-Shelby County Schools District (MSCS) is one of dozens arrested in a multiyear FBI operation into drug smuggling in the Mississippi Delta.
The FBI and the Mississippi State Attorney announced the arrest of 14 Mississippi law enforcement officers, including two sheriffs, on Thursday. Six other people were also indicted as co-conspirators.

One of those officers was Aashan Roach. On Friday, MSCS confirmed to FOX13 that Roach had been employed with the school district since 2018.
