Ohio State star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith makes highlight-reel catches on a weekly basis, but the 11-yard touchdown grab he had in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Big Ten matchup with conference rival Penn State is surely at the top of the list.

Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin knew exactly who he was throwing to, faking a handoff from shotgun, setting his feet and firing Smith’s way as he crossed the middle of the field near the goal line.

The pass was tipped by Penn State safety Zakee Wheatley around the 8-yard line, but Smith made a heads-up play, jumping from the 1-yard line and plucking the ball out of the air with one hand at the goal line before walking in for his second touchdown of the day to extend Ohio State’s lead to 38-14.
