Passengers have been warned 'do not travel' after armed police attended at an incident at a Cambridgeshire railway station on Saturday evening (November 1). Emergency services attended Huntingdon Train Station after reports that multiple people had been stabbed on a train.

Two people have been arrested, a police spokesperson said. The extent of any injuries is not yet known.

Train company LNER has told passengers not to travel. A spokesperson said: "We are experiencing major disruption across the LNER route. Emergency services are dealing with an incident at Huntingdon station; all lines are blocked."

They continued: "Our advice is 'Do Not Travel'. Please defer your travel where you can. Your existing ticket will be valid to use up to and including Monday 03 November."
