AUSTIN, Texas — A person who was hit by a vehicle in Bee Cave Saturday morning has died.

According to the Bee Cave Police Department, the incident occurred before sunrise near RM 620 and Aria Drive, between the city limits of Bee Cave and Lakeway. The driver of the vehicle that made the collision remained on scene immediately following the incident, police say.

The incident caused the closure of lanes for a few hours on RM 620, before they reopened just before 10 a.m.

Police said they are not revealing the identity of the person at this time.
