In "Scrim My Tail: As told to Margaret Orr," Orr details exactly why he did it.
"I went, 'Michelle, why did he jump?'" said Orr. "And she said, 'Dat cat!"
"Dat Cat" belongs to Michelle Cheramie, who runs Zeus' Rescues.
Cheramie, Scrim's owner, was responsible for rescuing him. First from Terrebonne Parish, and then tracking him down on the streets of New Orleans, and giving him a forever family.
