AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - CSRA Kids in Aiken held a kids jam Saturday.

Organizations like the YMCA, Big Air, and Aiken Stormwater provided activities for the kids.

There were even STEM activities for kids to learn while playing.

A murder suspect is dead after a police pursuit on I-20 in Columbia County that shut down traffic for hours.

We got to speak to the owner of CSRA Kids about why this event is so important.

“So we do this annually, and it’s just a way for CSRA Kids to pull the whole community together and just highlight the best things that the CSRA has to offer for families and kids,” said Brandy Mitchell.

They were also accepting donations for food pantries in North Augusta.
